December22, IFIF public relation- In a meeting between President Hassan Rohani and hid counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev in presence of central bank officials, both presidents agreed to start new round of banking ties through opening of new branches in the two countries.

President Rouhani underlined that it would welcome continued fostering and broadening of all-out relations and cooperation between the two neighboring states.

President Rouhani also mentioned the Iranian private sectors` role in energy, agriculture, road construction, technical and engineering services in Kazakhstan and said that the issuance of collective visas for tourist and businessmen will help to bolster ties between the two sides.

Kazakh president described Iran as the most important country in the region and underlined the economic potentials between the two countries and welcomes expansion of cooperation in different fields of energy, agriculture, oil and gas and mines.
